Workshops and Trainings

With its new sustainability reporting requirements, the EU has taken a significant step towards greater transparency and responsibility in the corporate environment. Whether through the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) or other European initiatives, companies are now faced with the challenge of documenting their sustainability practices comprehensively and transparently.

We not only support you in meeting these new requirements, but also offer you proactive support in order to implement your sustainability reporting independently and efficiently in the long term. Our practice-oriented workshops and training courses provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to understand the new reporting requirements and apply them successfully in your company. We help you to master the entire reporting process - from data collection and analysis to the preparation of the report.

However, society and in particular customers and consumers are also increasingly focussing on the topic of sustainability outside of CSRD. In order to give you a structured understanding of this broad topic area, we also offer you customised training courses and workshops that are specifically tailored to your individual needs and challenges. These can also be held in Chinese on request.

Rely on us not only to meet current requirements, but also to prepare for a sustainable future of corporate reporting.

Company check along the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The EU's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are based on the United Nations' 2030 Agenda and comprise 17 goals aimed at promoting sustainable development at an environmental, social and economic level. They range from combating poverty and hunger to climate protection and promoting education, equality and sustainable economic growth. For the EU, these goals play a central role in achieving an inclusive and sustainable transformation of its member states and companies.

Companies can use the SDGs as a strategic framework to systematically align their sustainability measures. They serve as a guide for integrating challenges such as climate change, resource scarcity or social inequality into business practices. For example, companies could analyze their supply chains and make them more sustainable in order to promote environmentally friendly production and fair trade, which in turn corresponds to the goal of sustainable consumption and production. At the same time, the introduction of energy-efficient technologies and the promotion of renewable energies can make an active contribution to climate protection.

In addition to the ecological dimension, the SDGs also offer social starting points. Companies can strengthen diversity and inclusion or develop programs for further training and equal opportunities for employees. The goal of decent work is achieved, for example, through fair wages, safe working conditions and the promotion of employee rights.

However, practical application of the SDGs requires that companies do not view them in isolation. They should develop comprehensive sustainability strategies that combine several goals. For example, a company could not only promote climate protection by developing sustainable products, but also create social and economic benefits for local communities. It is crucial to identify relevant goals, define measurable progress and report regularly. This not only increases transparency, but also strengthens credibility with customers, investors and other stakeholders.

The SDGs therefore not only offer companies an opportunity to fulfill their responsibility to the global community, but also create competitive advantages. By anchoring sustainability at the core of their business strategy, they can promote innovation, reduce risks and secure their position in the market in the long term.

ARRK Sustainability Consulting supports you in integrating the Sustainable Development Goals into your corporate DNA with customized workshops and trainings.

Sustainability basics

The four-hour “Sustainability Basics” training course is aimed at employees who want to develop a basic understanding of sustainability.

It begins with an introduction to the various aspects of sustainability, explaining the three dimensions - ecological, social and economic sustainability - and the development of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

This introduction is followed by a detailed examination of the individual dimensions, in which participants learn about the connection between resource conservation, social justice and long-term economic success.

The next section deals with the integration of sustainability in companies, focusing on successful business models, CSR and sustainability reporting. It will also discuss how employees can contribute to the implementation of sustainable measures within the company.

In the practical phase, participants learn how they can act more sustainably in both their personal and professional lives. This includes topics such as sustainable consumption, energy consumption and ways to conserve resources in the working environment. Group exercises and discussions help to develop concrete approaches that can be implemented in both a private and professional context.

At the end of the workshop, participants reflect on what they have learned and draw up personal action plans to actively integrate sustainability into their everyday lives. The training offers not only theoretical knowledge, but also practical examples and concrete tips to motivate participants to take responsibility for sustainable action.
